I love that your Mom was able to tap into the joy of the bird and how that became the grace that carried her forth. Nature transmuting into grace. Nature as grace. There’s nothing more beautiful! Now your mom is with you always- spirits intertwined.

You are really onto something here. I can’t wait to hear more. ♥️

This is so beautiful Marga. It helps me right now, as I prepare a eulogy for my mother, who passed away (as you know) in December 2020. Deepest blessings and gratitude for your willingness to share your process at this tender time of transition. Love you!

Hi Marga, Joe here. Thanks for the essay, very timely for me. I have come to be with my mom who is also transitioning, physically and mentally she is leaving us, but is still holding on to this side of her physical existence. I am talking to her everyday, just being present.

It is difficult as she has had such a full life, and, like your mom, was a Catholic, and also a deeply spiritual woman. I have to respect her decision to remain in her body longer. She is at home with my sister which is a blessing. I have to come to terms that I will have to go, most likely before she passes. So I just have to be thankful we shared so much together while she was more present, and I will have to keep those memories alive when I say goodbye. I hope you are dealing with your mom's passing better every day. I will keep you in my thoughts. Be well, maybe see you soon. With love and peace, Joe
